DENVER (AP) ? U.S. Sen. Mark Udall is trying to round up funding for cyber-defense training programs at the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Udall said Monday computer hackers threaten the United States and could cripple the electrical grid, water supplies and computers used by the military.
Earlier this year, Udall got an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act of 2013 to study whether government efforts to recruit and train computer security experts are meeting national security needs.
