#BizMumFollow made its debut on Twitter last Monday and was a phenomenal success with business mums connecting and supporting each other through their tweets and RT?s.
Jane Hopkins MBE said, ?I always maintain that networking is the key to business success, and twitter is an astonishing method. The social networking boom of recent years shows no sign of abating so to embrace this phenomenon can only be a sound business tool.?
We started #bizmumfollow simply because I get asked frequently to RT something or to connect people to the mumsclub following, so creating a hash tag means that our followers can connect directly to each other. We had no idea how quickly it would take off, we had our followers talking about it which means they introduced their network to it, with many people doing this increased the popularity of the hash tag and therefore connect many, many people. We had reports of people gaining hundreds of new followers in just a few days ? that means hundreds of new business contacts and access to their personal network of friends. In my opinion, using social media soundly is the most effective way to launch, grow and ultimately prosper for business people.?
Mumsclub itself is a fantastic resource for mums looking to start or develop a flexible family friendly business so being able to extend the success of mumsclub through to social media interactions is a fantastic achievement and helps support even more mumpreneurs.
